So, as I mentioned in a previous article we are getting ready to move into a new home at the end of the month and I am very excited to start designing it.
One of the most important space is any home is the dining area. This is a versatile social space we use often and for various things, either to eat, laptop or keep company to the person who’s cooking. I gathered some dining space inspiration in a previous post that you can check here. 😉 Thus the centre piece of this important space must be chosen carefully.
I think the dining table is one of the pieces of furniture and it’s worth investing in so after some research and a strong general idea of what I want to do with my space I narrowed it down to a few options:
My favourite so far is this oak table from Belgian company Heerenhuis, which I found one of my favourite sites entertheloft. What I liked about Heerenhuis is that these people know what they like to do and do it right; they motto is “We make tables. That’s what we do.”
This sleek, teak table by dutch brand Dutchbone. I like the airy design with the thin legs and I am sure it would create a very dynamic vibe in the dining area.
And the Copenhague Table CPH30 from HAY designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec is also on the list.
For now these are my top 3 choices but my options are still open.
How important is the dining space to you guys?
